Alert: NHS App

Did you know you can manage your repeat prescriptions in the NHS App?

You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you'll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.

You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. There’s no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.

It’s easy to use, and, if you hit a snag, you can go to ‘Help’ in the top right-hand corner of the app or visit nhs.uk/helpmeapp.

Welcome to The Kings Norton Surgery and Ash Tree Surgery

The doctors and staff at The Kings Norton Surgery and Ash Tree Surgery in Birmingham are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.

We aim to provide a full range of services in a traditional general practice setting.

Our values are high standards of clinical care with good patient relationships, allowing the patient to be fully involved in their care.
We have a permanent medical staff of doctors (a mix of male and female) and do not use locums thus ensuring continuity of patient care.

We are committed to training doctors of the future and have strong links with the University of Birmingham Medical School and the GP training program.

We therefore have a number of fully qualified doctors in our team who are undertaking postgraduate training to become GPs.

In addition to our routine medical care, we also offer a full range of contraceptive services including coils and implants, smoking cessation, antenatal and postnatal care, childhood vaccinations, travel vaccinations and NHS Health Checks.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.
